Dot Social Instructions
Dot Social Events are a great opportunity to connect with your local Dot community while promoting your business! To ensure a successful event, we’ve broken down some of the roles and responsibilities of the host business and the local chapter leadership.
APPLY 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR CHOSEN DATE
If you are interested in hosting a Dot Social, the first step is to fill out this form. It will go directly to Leadership who will review it and follow up with you. Once final approval is received the Dot Social host (YOU) will take the lead in planning and marketing a successful event!
Chapter Leadership – Role
* Provide final approval of event (to avoid any scheduling conflicts)
* Create the Facebook Event
* Help promote event
* Announce event at meetings.
* Include in monthly & mid-monthly newsletter
* Text Message - 3-4 days prior to event and/or payment deadline
* Leadership will do their best to ensure support and attendance of chapter leaders
Host Responsibilities
The Dot Social host (YOU) will lead the following:
Managing Facebook Event (Sharing, Commenting, Answering Questions, etc)
Promoting the event on their business website and/or social media sites
* Ensuring ongoing communication regarding the event to Chapter Leader(s)
* Coordinating guest registration and/or payments (if applicable)
* All costs associated with hosting a Dot Social are the responsibility of the host
* Best practice, the Host should be present at the actual event
* Please note alcohol cannot be supplied for free
